CELEBRATING THE HOLY SEE THROUGH ABUSE

I have not had the privilege of meeting Mr. Barack Obama, the President of United States in person. But I know that, as a private individual, Barack Obama is not known to be an atheist, and obviously, he is married to a woman who is the mother of his children. Left alone on his own, a homosexual relationship does not present any attractions to a Barack Obama who professes some belief in a good God. This much is a manifest act of faith. The faith of an average American Catholic has not fared much better than that of Barack Obama as an individual believer even if his faith is one that can be regarded as anonymous. Again, an average American Catholic faithful does not wholeheartedly subscribe to, but is even a susceptible threat to the official faith. A superficial religious sentiment constructed, individually or collectively, on the platform of extreme relativism is forcefully or violently grafted unto the mainstream of Church life, and then made to seek official recognition and inclusion into the body of doctrines. The Church in the U.S. is an endangered specie both in the inside and on outside. The messy atmosphere created by the clergy sex abuse of minors, the prodigality defiantly exhibited by the so-called catholic progressives in their agitations for inclusion into Church doctrines, theories and practices that ordinarily would not withstand a mild scrutiny of the official faith and the manifest dishonesty of the human instruments that go to color the response of the official Church to these agitations (for instance, the complicity of homosexual priests and lesbian nuns) have not only done much damage to the credibility of the Church in Europe and America, they have also hampered the authentic progressive evolution of the official faith over the past decades. The Church, it is said, speaks fluently a divine language with a grave human accent. But giving these permutations, it is discernibly clear that the Catholic Church in America has not been fluent enough in whatever it professes and advertises. It is very contentious an issue to maintain that hampered speech is, in this regard, sponsored by the hostility of insolvent atheism – the only real enemy clearly identified by the Church. By the way, and for a want of proper diagnosis, I want to observe here that I am yet to hear that a priest was prosecuted for a collaborative willful sexual engagement with a matured adult, even if this adult is a homosexual partner, except on rape charges. And so, the image of a Barack Obama persecuted Catholicism can only emerge when these coalescing factors of Church life are brought under critical review. Within the past decades, some stubborn themes about rights have created astounding records in jail-break, freeing themselves from perceived repressive mentality and having to queue up - sometimes with some vestiges of aggression and frustrations - behind other redefining factors of freedom and justice from where they keep on demanding for greater attention and accommodation. And the democratic institutions have been found to be overtly generous and dutifully accommodating. However, from individual to individual, institution to institution, and from one country to another, the parameters of accreditation differ greatly and are often opposed to one another. Nevertheless, some have assumed global status and are acclaimed as the standard. Democracy is one good example. Yet from another angle, there is also the Bible, and by extension, the Qu’ran. National constitutions of democratic governments are drawn up in accord with the democratic principles and ideals operative in each country. In as much as it is a secular document, its force derives from the fact of it being a legitimate and effective instrument of security and defense for lives, property and rights as well as a compellingly obtrusive factor of order and discipline. In so far as what pertains the subject of constitutional law or government remains a factor, an event or a potential that is completely distanced and separated from or even stands in opposition to the governing principles of democracy, the responsibility of the democratic framework in place is defined in terms of security with particular reference to the subject in question. This responsibility is considered positive as long as the subjective interest does not override the constitution; otherwise it is negative – a target for questioning and possible extinction. Barack Obama, the incumbent U.S president swore to protect the constitution of the United States of America – the most advanced democracy in the world, and not to protect the Bible or the moral legislations evolved by a superlatively influential hegemony, whether this is linked to an obtrusively imperialist Rome, or to the violent irredentists of Islamic Jeddah. This is where Barack Obama got it perfectly right in reference to the health insurance policy and many more that have ruffled the feathers of Christian morality and Catholic conscience. But from another angle, I am inclined to think that the huge propaganda mounted against the hierarchy and one that thrives at the behest of the clergy sex abuse of minors, as well as the powerfully co-ordinated attacks against the institutional Church in Europe and America, for instance, the Vatileaks, are an expansionist agenda by some defiant democratic apologists against perceived sources of imposing imperialist pretensions, real or imagined. Equally, among other things, this is what is signified by the U.S involvements in the Middle East – an involvement that predates the 9/11 terrorist attack on the U.S. Where does this take us to? If Vatican speaks and understands the language of silent but effective manipulation of diplomatic schema, and has raised this engagement to the status of a divine patrimony bequeathed to it by God, and if Islam possesses the monopoly of power over the minds of its adherers and always, willfully, turns this power into a violent instrument of force and coercion for the purpose of placing and achieving enslaving aristocratic interests hiding behind religion, then democratic institutions, it is reasoned, have the avowed mission of fighting and eliminating every obstacle to human freedom, whatever the source is. But the U.S , I suppose, cannot hope to win the war against fundamentalist Islam except if a significant measure of success in the de-colonization and deconstruction of the archival Islamic mentality is achieved via the inauguration of a peculiar democratic framework which unpretentiously appreciates the value an average Islamic mind attaches to the inviolate dictates of Islam even in reference to politics, economics, tradition, education and in the social sphere, and then works assiduously to absorb these values unto himself. Regrettably, Islam is afraid – very much afraid that the deconstruction, or dare I say, liberation of and reshaping of Islamic mind is a project that may conjecture up an ambush against itself in the silent obtrusive schema of Christianity especially the brand propagated by the Holy See. Knowing the significance of this liberation for global peace and integration - a liberation which is, at the same time, a project and an event, advanced democracies are now united in allaying the fears posed to Islam by the Holy See by first of all deploying coordinated attacks against it (the Vatican), aimed at the deconstruction of the Holy See itself as a way of making an inroad into Islam from the touchline, and hoping to reconstruct and raise it (Holy See) again to the status of a parallel independent global organization equivalent to and in a collaborative alliance with the U.N, but now in reference to world religions. This, it is believed, is the first step in dealing with the scourgeof fundamentalist Islam. Thus, penetrating the thick walls of the Vatican had become a project very close to the heart of the U.S democratic apologists - and the US collaborative efforts with the Holy See during the war against communism gave the CIA an opportunity to open a window into the Vatican archives. It was projected that, at least, by 2016 and rising from the rubbles of the Vatileaks, will emerge a Holy See that will serve a religious parallel to the U.N; one that is completely wrestled from the control and influence of thr pope. The new Papacy or Holy See is an ecumenical body of world religions, that is, a global religious government formed by the federating gods. The truth that has not been told these ecumenical enthusiasts like the Queen of England, the Archbishop of Canterbury, and many other dedicated ecumenical hopefuls who have, perhaps, been disenchanted by the enormous power of Rome, or injured by a certain brand of vulgar ecclesiasticism on the one hand, and these other astute democratic minds who think that religious claims upon their lives are turning into greater pretensions and intolerable intrusions on the other hand, is that the emerging twin towers of the U.N. and the Holy See are designed and owned completely by the World Union – a catch phrase for global Satanism - in a veiled but influential effort to tame the religious consciousness of modern man and to eliminate the stronghold which such utopic concepts like God, faith, heaven or hell have upon the human mind. The greatest deceit about this global satanic project is the fact of the unseen powers and unknown influences that will inevitably arise to, like the two fingers of a leprous hand, control the destiny of peoples and nations in the guise of One World Government. The World Union or the 666 - a six-hundred-and-sixty-six member organization which constitutes the innermost core and the highest level of Freemason but whose existence and membership are the most jealously guarded secret – often to the point of vehement denial – of the Freemason. And so, for now, CIA - not the Pope or the Archbishop of Canterbury or the World Islamic head - is the only trusted priest or Imam of the 21 century faith. The American CIA is the manifest network provider for, and the only point of contact with this new religion. Prospectively, by the year 2016, the U.N is one and at the same time the Holy See and vice versa – a consummate transposition, sterilization and subversion of the original faiths of world religions respectively and divine government from the angle of politics, and the cloning of the attractive and benevolent DNA cells of global Satanism from the angle of religion. +++++++ Against this background, the real identity and function of the Holy See as run by the Vatican must be made to emerge. The Holy See is the official government of the Universal Church, that is, the Catholic Church with its headquarters at the Vatican City, Rome in Italy. The Vatican City is a sovereign state and this accords it the right to run embassies in many countries of the world especially in those countries where the Catholic population is numerically significant. These embassies are referred to as Apostolic Nunciatures, and the ambassadors are referred to as Apostolic Nuncios. The Pope is the Head of State of the Vatican City. While the structures that give international accreditation to the Holy See is political, thus making it imperative that the Vatican City maintains its sovereignty, their function is very significant for the Church in many ways. And as national democratic governments are sworn to the defense of the constitution of their respective countries, so also is the Holy See sworn tothe defense of the faith of the Church. From here, it is clear that the defining and underlying principles of Vatican sovereignty and papal immunity are located, first and foremost, within the framework of total fidelity to the gospel and in the event of this faith being the driving impetus and governing principles of the activities of the Holy See in foreign lands. While the status of the Vatican as a sovereign state accords it inalienable rights alongside other countries of the world, including a diplomatic recognition by and a seat in the U.N, its foreign policy thrust is chiefly targeted at the many local churches, and many ecclesiastical institutions scattered over and cutting across the many countries of the world. This is where the real Holy See is located. It is not true that the Holy See is just a secretive enclave of a century dynasty that is out of touch with reality. Every member of Church administration, whether in the U.S. or in India, is in a way, a Holy See worker. The reason why women are not found to occupy high ranking offices is not born out of prejudice but finds explanation in the fact that, in most cases, for one to qualify to work in any of those offices requires that one be a priest, a bishop or a nun. And while the power of national governments derive from their respective constitutions, and are sustained more or less on the wings of political realism of the extreme type with all its inherent factors of terrorism and violence, that of the Holy See is a factor of divine government arising out of and demanding the obedience of faith. Regular oversight functions over the local Churches and ecclesiastical institutions hold the key to rewarding diplomatic engagement at the service of the gospel. Instructively, one has to note that it is because of the presence, involvements and intervention of the Holy See as a force and influence in the committee of nations that Christians and members of other religious faiths are recognized and accorded their rights to religious freedom especially in those countries that have laws which infringe on the right to religious freedom. The local churches and all these other ecclesiastical institutions, in one way or the other, wield enormous powers and influences in their native countries in which they are situate. Nationally and internationally, all of them are bound together in unity, and or related to each other by virtue of ecclesiastical government. But in reference to the Holy See, such powers are not ordinary but secondary and delegated. Emphatically, not a few nations can place the required logistics for change and global integration without reference, no matter how minimal and remote even in an unconscious manner to the Holy See. The Holy See is also the court of last resort. Any aggrieved person or institution has the right to make an appeal to the Holy See. Such a person can press for a redress, or demand that the broken tissues of justice be restored, or that such be compensated for in accord with the provisions of the law – the Canon law. And the Holy See is always challenged and greatly tasked not only by its very nature but also by international standards of accountability and transparency in all its dealings with peoples, institutions and nations. But problems and questions raised along the lines of doctrines and orthodoxy present a different kind of challenge to the Holy See and therefore require a method and an approach that may be qualitatively different from and diametrically opposed to those obtainable in other governments and institutions. Such an approach or method, however, fails to retain its validity once it is situated outside the context of fidelity to the gospel, or a defense of the faith. To raise any doctrinal question or agitation especially within official Catholicism is to assert, even if unconsciously, the right of the Holy See to hear, comment, adjudicate or legislate on the matter. Today, some of these questions and agitations have become more complex, and have assumed some additional significance in respect of faith and orthodoxy. From the Vatican end, some reviews and adjustments are significant and necessary. Some transformative updates are also long overdue. Nevertheless, some issues like homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion and gay marriage at one level; and others like women ordination and married clergy, at another level, are seen to constitute undue influences that share neighborhoods with the clergy sex abuse of minors, malignant clericalism, vulgar ecclesiasticism and pretentious collaboration. Thus, though very sympathetic to and gravely concerned about the salvation of prodigal humanity and some situational questions, the Holy See is not accustomed to being intimidated into doctrinal adjustments or reviews that have the capacity to undermine the gospel. At best a negotiated grudging accommodation or ephemeral intolerance can be risked. The relevance of the LCWR and the protests that have matched in sympathy must be measured against this background. Even in the midst of all these, the LCWR and the Catholic population in America are not only tasked to the defense of the faith in their native land given the Obama insolvency, they are equally challenged, along with the general catholic population world over, by the demands which accountability and transparency impose on us all as members of the church. Infiltrations. Pretensions collaboration. Leakages. This is the triangular network of the action of the enemy inside the Vatican. Outside, many local churches, ecclesiastical institutions or bodies are marked for demolition using the same method. Pollutions, sterilizations and internal contradictions are ingeniously introduced, like HIV/AIDS virus, into the immune system and engine rooms of Churches including non-catholic denominations. The result is an induced scandal the evidences and facts of which are well documented. This is the reason the Holy See must not underrate the harm done by the Vatileaks. The damage is awfully devastating and legally incisive. The Church must go beyond apportioning blames and awarding penalties to launching a full scale local institutional and global war against Satanism. Against this insinuation, the Church must assert authoritatively that she is the perfect bride of Jesus Christ and the true symbol of motherhood.
